NY State Solar has established itself as one of the top 5 installers in NY State and a dominant force in the NYC/LI territories. We are looking to continue our explosive growth and have launched a new National Brand in New Jersey.

EvoSolar has entered the New Jersey market.

As part of this growth we will be expanding our Sales Team and are in search of a Market Sales Leader to help launch our Secaucus Office.

This is a critical position to help lead an incredible story and build a new market through sales ability and leadership.

If you have a proven track record closing deals in the Solar Industry, and are ready to lead a market then this job is right for you.

The right candidate will work closely with all areas of the business, but primarily with our In Home Sales team in New Jersey. They will be a motivating influence who will lead from the front and close sales while we build a team around you. They will provide the right support and process management to help take their business to the next level.

Immediate Responsibilities Upon Starting as an In Home Sales Consultant:

  • Attend about 2-3 assigned HOT appointments per day generated by our sales and marketing platforms.
  • Educate and Qualify homeowners to determine which solar program will be the most beneficial to their current situation.
  • Collect necessary docs for proposal ($0 down, Immediate savings).
  • Follow up with all leads and get projects to contract.
  • Commitment to personal growth and ongoing education.
  • Work in the Team environment and have fun!!

Future Leadership Responsibilities for the In-Home Sales Consultant:

  • Continue to drive sales, both personally and through support of the area sales team.
  • Oversee and contribute to execution of cross-functional plans, objectives and strategies.
  • Interpret company and department goals, metrics and KPI’s into functional goals and strategies.
  • Provide leadership, professional development, and coaching to improvements and performance of the team.
  • Identify training needs and opportunities for Program Manager.
  • Acts as the program point of contact for senior management stakeholders.
  • Manage collection of required documents, collect what's missing to get deals to contract and installed.
  • Perform Project and Contract reviews with the team prior to projects closing to avoid bottlenecks and last minute redesigns.
  • Ensure regular and consistent documentation and dispositions in Salesforce.
  • May need to be available during nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Desired Skill and Experience for the In-Home Sales Consultant:

  • Strong background in Solar Industry and In-Home Sales.
  • Experience working in a Financing and Contract driven environment.
  • Experience working closely with a commission based sales team.
  • Salesforce Experience a Big Plus.
  • Advertising technology experience preferred.
  • Bachelors’ Degree Preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
